Rutland Online offers a client control model so that you can be confident that you are always in control of your website. That way, you only pay for the support you need, and won’t be tied into a lengthy contract with expensive exit fees.
Whether you choose to manage your own hosting and update your website yourself or use my competitively priced maintenance service is entirely up to you; I have clients that do both. Initial training and a content management is included with every website build, so you can always see how you get on and call on my help if you find you haven’t the time to DIY.
I keep a secure record in Dashlane Password Manager of all your login details, and will delete these immediately on request once your website is launched. Once I have completed your project, you are free to change passwords, move host, use a different designer….after all, I don’t want to work with anyone who isn’t 100% happy working with me!

Training and Experience
My creative design mojo started with a love of art, which I studied to ‘A’ Level (Level 4 nowadays!). I now paint as a hobby, as well as photographing wildlife with my gurt big lens!
I have two marketing postgrads, one from the University of Northumbria and the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) Diploma, which I took with Cambridge Marketing College. I am a a Member of the CIM.
My career spans over 25 years, with the first few in sales management then over 20 years marketing at senior management level within a wide range of organisations, large and small.
I have taken courses in website development and social media management, and keep up to date with the latest technology and trends.
Resources
I have all the resources a freelance designer needs. My Apple Macbook Pro gives me the power and flexibility to work anywhere.
My home office is fully kitted out, with a 28 inch monitor and superfast broadband enabling me to get online in double quick time.
I use WordPress combined with the popular Divi theme to create all websites, which are fully customised for your organisation and easy to update. My hosting is with carbon positive Eco Web Hosting, and all hosting clients have full access to their cPanel. All websites are equipped with a lifetime license for Divi, and those hosted with me also have a free SSL certificate applied. Training is offered either via video, PDF guide and / or face to face. Maintenance packages are also available.
