When the Cornish Pasty Association calls your client two days after their new website has been published, you know their SEO is working!
This is what happened to Leeson Family Butchers in Oakham. Their new online shop featured Cornish pasties; in fact their old online shop had featured Cornish pasties for the best part of 10 years but it hadn’t ever been noticed before!
Steve Leeson called me and I immediately contacted the Cornish Pasty Association to find out what wording could and couldn’t be used. Basically any association between pasty and Cornwall. I updated the website straight away to remove the offending terminology.
I alway act as quickly as I can to sort out any requests from my clients, even if some are rather unusual and outside the usual remit of a website designer!
